Alliance Tower Defense Tier List

Use this provisional Alliance Tower Defense tier list to compare documented unit roles, affordability, and team fit without relying on rarity alone.

This Alliance Tower Defense tier list ranks jobs a developing team should prioritize, not raw rarity colors. The developer has not published a complete current stat sheet, so a universal damage ranking would create false precision. Use the list to decide which role deserves your next slot, then test the actual unit on a familiar map before spending more Coins.

Community corroborated: current guides agree that Camera Man is a dependable early carry, Scientist Camera Man is an economy piece, and expensive Titan units belong later in a run. Exact stats and the full roster remain update-sensitive.

Why Camera Man is S for progression

S tier here means the unit performs a high-priority job with clear practical evidence. Multiple beginner and Easy City walkthroughs show a simple route built around one Camera Man: enter a one-player Easy City match, place it on the useful funnel, upgrade it fully, and enable Auto Skip only after the defense is stable. That route makes Camera Man a strong learning and farming benchmark.

The ranking does not claim Camera Man has the highest endgame damage. It says an affordable early carry unlocks everything else. A roster full of expensive units still needs a placement that survives before late cash exists. If your current alternative clears the same map more reliably at the same investment, use it; the role matters more than the name.

Why economy shares S tier

Scientist Camera Man represents the economy job. Extra income changes which upgrades and late units can be funded, so its ceiling can be enormous. Its floor can also be zero: if placing economy causes a leak, the investment arrived too early or the rest of the team was not ready.

Rank economy highly only after testing timing. Start the match with a dependable damage core, observe when the lane becomes stable, and introduce the Scientist on a later attempt. Compare the cash and clear result with the damage-only run. That experiment tells you whether economy is S tier for your current mode, not merely for a screenshot of a completed account.

A tier: strong when the budget fits

Large Scientist Camera Man and Engineer Camera Man appear in current community guides as useful early pressure or carry candidates. Their exact damage, slow, healing, cost, and crate details are not repeated here because those values can change. The practical test is whether they improve the dangerous part of your run without delaying a required upgrade.

Titan Speaker Man 2.0 belongs in the same conditional tier for a different reason. Community indexes identify it as a Mythic late anchor, but a rare unit that cannot be funded is not helping the opening. Equip it beside an affordable carry, note the first wave where it can be placed safely, and judge the complete upgrade path rather than its inventory label.

How to rank your own roster

Choose one familiar map and one difficulty. Easy City is the starting benchmark; a repeatable higher mode is better once Easy no longer tests the team. Keep player count, skip setting, and placement area the same.

Run each candidate in the same role. For an opening carry, note the cost to reach a stable wave and the first leak. For economy, note when the investment repays itself and whether survival changes. For coverage, record the enemy pattern it fixes. For a late anchor, record when it can be placed without starving the rest of the board.

Change one unit at a time. A five-slot overhaul cannot tell you which choice improved the clear. Save the result as a personal tier list for the current patch and re-test after an update changes the official title, the live unit card, or the queue behavior.

Common tier-list mistakes

  • Ranking rarity instead of jobs. Acquisition difficulty does not prove opening value.
  • Comparing incomplete upgrades. One maxed affordable unit can beat several unfinished premium units.
  • Borrowing another game’s roster. Similar Camera Man and Speaker Man names appear across unrelated Roblox experiences.
  • Ignoring the map. A unit’s range and target behavior can be excellent on one path and awkward on another.
  • Treating a trade value as combat power. Scarcity and demand belong on the value list, not in a damage tier.
  • Freezing a ranking forever. Alliance Tower Defense advertises weekly updates, so roles and balance can move.

Tier list FAQ

Is Titan Speaker Man 2.0 the best unit?

It is a community-documented Mythic chase and late anchor, not a guaranteed best unit for every account. It still needs an affordable opening and enough match cash to reach useful upgrades.

Should I replace Camera Man immediately?

Only when the replacement improves a controlled run. Keep Camera Man as the baseline until another unit clears the same map with better reliability or a better budget.

Why are some units unranked?

A name, rarity, or limited source is not enough evidence. A fair placement needs a current role, an obtainable test case, and a comparison on the same map.

How current is this list?

The role evidence was checked October 18, 2026 against the community tier page and community unit index. It remains provisional until the live build confirms the relevant unit cards and behavior.
